So i was just perusing my FAR daily Email blast only to see a little link towards the bottom about Pasco County real estate ( where I work and live) As some of you may know, from reading previous blogs by me, we have had a bit of a bad time here, probably worse than most places. So needless to say I was pretty excited to see
Pasco County: Property values beat expectations
I jumped right on it to find out what happened, how had the market turned, and how did the Paper beat me to this breaking story, after all I am in the Trenches when it comes to West Pasco County, Florida real estate.

So full of trepidation, almost feeling like a kid on Christmas morning again. Gimme the goodies. Gimme the goodies. What could be inside???????
You probably guessed it by now. The actual news was Our county didn't SUCK as bad as was projected.
Our County Property Appraiser released that the
"Taxable value of Real Estate in our County was $23 billion, down nearly $4 billion, or 14.6 percent from last year. And while that is worse While that's worse than last year's 10 percent drop from 2007, it's a lot better than the 20 percent decline Wells (property Appraiser) was predicting in January"
