American Keystone Insurance Seized by Florida Regulators

American Keystone Insurance Seized by Florida Regulators

This company is only 2 years old and opened up more Insurance avenues for higher valued properties in Florida.  Starting at $250,000 and up, they had over 7000 homeowners.  The state had originally tried to sure up the company, but it was later determined to be too little, too late, so to speak.  The company is in receivership under  Florida Department of Financial Services.

I would not recommend putting of this change, as we are technically still in Hurricane season.  And if you are in need of a referral I would recommend

Sarah Morgera @ Grauer Insurance Agency, Inc.

"Following a circuit court ruling issued Friday, American Keystone Insurance Co. was placed in receivership and will be liquidated following unsuccessful attempts to shore up the two-year-old company that has about 7,618 policyholders."

"All policies will be cancelled effective 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 8, 2009."
